I'm dusting off this old thing.
Apr. 15th, 2016 07:33 pmI've decided to (try) using Dreamwidth again. Originally I was going to save all of the entries that were here from 2012 and beyond... but holding on to them and the memories they represented would do nothing but hurt me. I was happy with the dynamic of my relationship back then, but it's never coming back, so it's better to delete it all.
It's a shame Blogger isn't as easy to customize as Dreamwidth or Livejournal. The basic themes that they do provide are big and bloated. It's not easy to dive into the CSS and tinker around. All I want is something simple and clean. I'm partial to the common aesthetic of Livejournal and Dreamwidth blogs but once again, modern design means most of the "free" templates (that give you limited editing power) have big, ugly sections.
